| Aberdeen Airport opened in 1934 and became the doorway into Europe’s energy Capital. With over 3 million travellers currently passing through its doors it has now begun work on a £10 million construction project to attract more international routes. It is easy to reach, located at Dyce in the city of Aberdeen, Northwest of the city centre.
The Airport also serves as the main Famous commercial heliport for the North Sea Oil and gas industry.
Aberdeen Airport has in place a war memorial at the front of the terminal, in honour of the men who served from there when it was home to the RAF 612 squadron.
With one main passenger terminal it has chartered and scheduled flights to offer at more than 35 destinations.
